Kuttan is also known as Jagran Valley, is a village and tourist resort located 82 kilometers (51 mi) from Muzaffarabad and 8 kilometers (5.0 mi) from Kundal Shahi on the bank of Jagran steam.

Keran is 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) ahead from Athmuqam Keran resort is located on the bank of Neelum river at the altitude of 1,524 meters (5,000 ft)

Sharda a breath-taking green spot at an altitude of 1981m. Shardi and Nardi are two mountain peaks overlooking the valley, reputedly named after legendary princess Sharda. It has a captivating landscape with numerous springs and hill-sides covered with trees. On the right bank, opposite Sharda, the Neelum is joined by the Surgan Nallah along which a track leads to Nurinar Pass and through it to the Kaghan Valley. Ruins of an old Buddhist University can also be found in Sharda.

Kel a small village situated at a height of 2097m. This is another picturesque place in the Neelum Valley. The Shounter Nallah joins river Neelum at this place and leads to Gilgit Agency (Northern Areas) over the Shandur at 4420m.

Itinerary for Neelum Valley AJK Holiday Tour Package :

• Day 1 Pick up from Islamabad, enroute Kuttan via Kohala River Jehlum, Muzaffarabad, Night stay Kuttan / Athmuqam (7-8 hrs drive)
• Day 2 Local sight seeing Kuttan, Keran Upper Neelum, enroute Sharda, night stay Sharda
• Day 3 Full day Jeep & sight seeing Khel, Taobut (optional full day 10 hrs two way Jeep) and night stay Sharda
• Day 4 check out and local sight seeing keran , Night stay Keran/ Kuttan / Athmuqam
• Day 5 Check out and back to Islamabad via Muzaffarabad & Kohala River Jehlum. (7-8 hrs Drive).
